When you go to 'Modify Profile' instead of choosing an avatar from the drop-down, go to google images and get the url of the picture you want. Then copy and paste it into the box that says 'Avatar URL'. Then set the 'Avatar Height' and 'Avatar Width' to 100 and save it!
